A job board carrying vacancies in the wave and tidal energy sectors was launched today (9th February) by Wave & Tidal Energy News (http://jobs.wave-tidal-energy.com). Open to everyone involved in the sector the site is currently free to both companies and individuals and aims to bring together all those looking for jobs and recruiting in the wave and tidal market.

While the job board has a web site of its own, links to the latest vacancies are also displayed on the front page of the Wave & Tidal Energy News site.

Explaining the reasons for the new site Giles Clark, Editor of Wave & Tidal Energy News said; "Perhaps more than any other renewable energy sector the wave and tidal market looks to recruit across a wide range of highly specialised disciplines. It is a challening recruitment environment which uses engineers, academics and business people from a variety of backgrounds often making it difficult to highlight vacancies to the appropriate audience. With the new job board, linked to the online magazine, we believe we can reach a very focussed group of people already involved or interested in working in the sector."
